An airy, cute and welcoming space. It is hard to match the charm of genuine vintage bedding. You can sometimes find treasures at thrift stores or antique shops, or online. Keep in mind, however, that vintage fabric is delicate, so you will need to take extra care with decades old bedding. Decorating in vintage style does not mean you can not get colorful.
The highlight of this room is the stenciled accent wall behind the bed. The bright persimmon and white duvet is grounded with a soft blue coverlet. The squared off headboards casual slipcover, made with a soft blue linen, can be removed and tossed in the laundry. In keeping with the calming color scheme, an antique shopkeepers cabinet with glass front drawers was painted white and serves as an interesting dresser.
