Raise your hand if a pile of discarded clothes keeps you from sitting on that chair in the corner of your bedroom. Or if a stack of books has taken up residence on the floor beside your dresser. We know from experience that bedroom clutter seemingly accumulates faster than you can stow it away, resulting in the aforementioned disarray, but with the right organizational tools, it is possible to take your space from cluttered and chaotic to neat and orderly.
You will soon find that when it comes to vintage furnishings, paint can be your best friend. Even if a vintage piece is scuffed or stained, it is easy to give it a makeover with a bright new coat of colorful paint. Although there is no hard and fast vintage color scheme, you will generally find that the vintage palette is soft in intensity, uses a lot of creamy white, and gets colorful with mint or moss green, pink, soft blue, palest lavender or buttery yellow.Continue Reading
