What you’ll need: 
- 1/2 banana
- 2 graham cracker squares
- peanut butter
- a butter knife
Step 1: Slice the bananas into circles, like this… (little ones will need help)

Step 2: Put the banana circles and a dollop of peanut butter onto your plate. Then spread the peanut butter onto the crackers (little ones will also need help with spreading).

Step 3: Place one to three banana slices onto each graham cracker square.

Step 4: Great work! Enjoy eating your circles and squares snack.

In this easy kitchen craft, vegetables become Martians and then Martians disappear…

Print these directions.
What you’ll need:
- 1 cucumber
- 1 carrot
- 1/4 cup raisins
- dollop cream cheese or peanut butter
Step 1: Have an adult cut the vegetables into pieces, like this…

Step 2: Put the vegetable pieces on your plate. Use the cucumber cuts to form the Martian’s head and body. Carrots for arms and legs. Raisins for ears, eyes, and mouth.

Step 3: Add a dollop of cream cheese or peanut butter to your plate.

Step 4: Dip your vegetable pieces into the cream cheese or peanut butter and gobble up your Martian. YUM!
